Based out of a locally owned and operated real estate office, Campus Apartments is looking to expand it's leasing team for several apartment communities near Western Carolina University.

Campus Apartments is looking to fill several seasonal Leasing Agent positions. We are able to provide part-time, paid training hours beginning in April and increased hours beginning in May and lasting through August. This position is perfect for students or those looking to earn some additional money over the summer months.


The Leasing Agent would work alongside the Community and Assistant Community Managers to complete the following tasks:


  • Set and achieve leasing goals.
  • Assist with marketing available/vacant apartments.
  • Develop positive resident relations.
  • Effectively show, lease and move in prospective tenants.
  • Ensure leases and all other necessary forms are accurately filled, signed and filed.
  • Communicate with prospective tenants.
  • Monitor and report leasing and renewal progress.
  • Assist with monitoring and updating reporting systems.
  • Intercept, document and pass along tenant complaints, concerns and request to supervisor.
  • Conduct move-out inspections.
  • Assist new tenants with move-in procedures.
  • Be able to maintain thorough knowledge of the various apartment communities, rent rates, amenities, vacancies and other property features.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Available to work 1-2 Saturdays a month.
  • Knowledge and use of popular social media platforms is desirable.


Physical Demands:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, handle, or feel. The employee is also regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and climb, stoop, or squat. Employee must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities. The employee must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty five (25) pounds. Local travel is required to assist properties and tenants as needed and the use of a company vehicle during office hours is allowed and encouraged.
