Campus Apartments is looking to hire a full-time Assistant Community Manager. The Assistant Community Manager will oversee the leasing team and would work alongside the Property Manager and General Manager to complete the following tasks:
- Set and achieve leasing goals.
- Develop and implement marketing plan.
- Assist with marketing available/vacant apartments.
- Develop positive resident relations.
- Effectively show, lease and move in prospective tenants.
- Ensure leases and all other necessary forms are accurately filled, signed and filed.
- Communicate with prospective tenants and ensure the leasing team is following up with prospective tenants in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report leasing and renewal progress.
- Assist with monitoring and updating reporting systems.
- Work with the maintenance team to schedule tenant maintenance requests.
- Conduct move-out inspections.
- Assist new tenants with move-in procedures.
- Be able to maintain thorough knowledge of the various apartment communities, rent rates, amenities, vacancies and other property features.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge and use of popular social media platforms is desirable.
- Display adequate computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and their Google equivalents.
- Have adequate written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, handle, or feel. The employee is also regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and climb, stoop, or squat. Employee must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities. The employee must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty five (25) pounds. Local travel is required to assist properties and tenants as needed and the use of a company vehicle during office hours is allowed and encouraged.
